France & Spain Cruise: The Photo Album Day 4: Gijon, Spain

Aloha Bombshells,

The last post and port of call in this mini cruise series is Gijon, Asturias, Spain, the second most beautiful port on this trip. A place where the water is as blue as a crystal and the sandy San Lorenzo beach stretches for miles.

We jumped on the shuttle bus into town which took around 15- 20 minutes, it was a lovely ride in, the actual dock itself wasn't that pretty to look at it was like a container port, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but once we pulled up into the main part of town, wow it was entirely different, I love the architecture in Spain, it's similar in ways to the British buildings but has a character all of its own. It's certainly a place we both wouldn't mind going back to for a few days, as when you are on a cruise you only get a few hours to explore which isn't long enough and with him having to back onboard for his evenings work, it did make our schedule run even tighter but from what we saw it was a lovely place to be an…
