The Vintage Fair April 2014
Once again Lou Lou's Vintage Fair came back round to Southampton Guildhall yesterday, i went to one last year and thoroughly enjoyed it, so i just had to go again and this year was no let down, in fact i thought it was even better.
As you walk in there are loads of stalls, the place is full to the brim with gorgeous furs and dresses and all the things you can think of, and the atmosphere is great, the music playing was fabulous to with great artists like Frank Sinatra and Sachmo to the Queen of scat Ella Fitzgerald.
After looking around you could even enjoy your refreshments in vintage style, with lovely vintage china and the cakes available where homemade and looked ever so tasty although i didn't indulge, but i can imagine what they tasted like and were really good size slices that you got to.
If you haven't been to one of these yet then i really recommend that you do, there is something for everyone at these places, the next one at the Guildhall is on Saturday 14th June but if you are not from Southampton you can look the website, if you love the vintage re-enactment events War on The Line is at the Watercress Line that weekend to you can find more out about that here.
